Skipped!

Practice! Yuhhh son

Went shopping instead haha. At Waikele again.

Charlotte Russe had a sale, and though most of it was junk things, I bought a strapless green dress (my sister said it makes me look like Grr...I've never watched Invader Zim 0.O) and earrings
Everblue- sale too. I got some cute blue shorts and a white racerback top.
Borders- just chilled in there. The chairs are sooo comfy <3

Tried some froyo. It was way too sweet. I'm hoping Yogurtland's will be much better.

33 more days of summer

So today I read in the newspaper that the PAAC group from Hawaii (the one that Mo is in) got isolated in South Korea for swine flu. I sure hope she is doing fine, and that it didn't ruin her trip! (Because I want nice things hahaha)

I wonder when the next bon dance is going to be. I remember my parents brought me to every single one once when I was in elementary school. I miss the smell of andagi and those Japanese flutes. Everytime I see a soft orange light, I think about the lanterns dangling overhead as the drums keep beating. Let's go bon dancing!

And I kind of really want to go to Japan. My dream! Christine and I want to go and board in the same apartment. We made that promise so long ago...

But hey I watched Like a Boss for the first time tonight. Win. Like a Boss.

Chill with me

Went to the ASMHS meeting today and was sadly disappointed by the choice for Homecoming....which is Circus Shabang. I would have been okay if the name was different. But seriously...shabang? There will be a lot of innuendos this year instead of 'shabang' :(

In any case, I left, intending to go home and sleep off the rest of my illness (which seems to be going away thanks to medicine!), but diverted a little. Dharyl managed to convince me to walk around Mililani for a while. We went to the library and drew for a while (and waved at cars). We ate strawberry and honeydew melona bars from Longs, before buying Jamba Juice and chilling at that new eating place, Blazing Steaks. We haven't done that in a really long time...

I didn't realize how quickly summer was passing until it hit me that in three weeks, I'll be at school every day for Student Council, Color Guard and Brain Camp. Summer seems to last forever, especially in the very middle, when it seems you still have forever to spend with your loved ones. But with so many of my friends leaving for college soon, I can't help but imagine what it will be like when it's time for me to go.

Serteens

Went to Serteens today, despite my lingering sickness. I guess it's a good thing I didn't get my wisdoms pulled out yesterday, because today required quite a lot of talking.

Came like, 1 minute till the CPM and totally couldn't talk. My voice was goneeee and I was still kind of high from the NyQuil ^^" But Julie and I have our game for LC (1 month till!)! We were debating having another meeting outside of Serteens, but it was not meant to be. We just live too far away from each other.

I had to cover for Maya's fundraiser, and it is actually more work than I thought. Props to Shantel for doing such a flawless job last year =] But daaaaang I was like running all over the place trying to get people to tell me what they wanted to do to earn their money! Sheeeesh :P

BUT it was all worth it, because I found some people who love The Postal Service just as much as I do :) If you've never heard of them...well now you have! The Postal Service consists of Ben Gibbard, the vocalist of Death Cab for Cutie, and Jimmy Tamborello, a music producer. It's an electronic, indie group that mostly sings of heartache through songs like "Nothing Better" and "Sleeping In", but my personal favorite is "Such Great Heights". Listen to them!

Tears emo and sadness!!

I am sick. And not only am I sick, I couldn't take my wisdom teeth out today so I have to do it during the school year and miss some of my senior year. And not only am I sick and not taking my wisdom teeth out today, but I missed Sam's grad party too!!!

I am sad. I will take my NyQuil and wallow in self-pity.

Dark park

Photobucket
Spent another Friday night with Dayton and Dharyl. This time, instead of dodging rams, we had dinner at Waena park. We picked up some fried rice from Genki and Sunny D from Safeway before heading over, and that was dinner.
(I saw Catherine and Daniel before going :) )
A cold night in a dark park. I probably became sicker from it, but it was really worth it<3

Shopping

At Waikele :)

I bought a bag at LeSportsac. I don't know how I feel about that store. But I couldn't resist, they had a sale :D

Bought a Teen Vogue magazine at Borders and this cuuute Tokidoki notebook. I want to use it for Physics! They had Emma Watson on Teen Vogue, and she is so chic. I wish I could dress like her.

Bought some pizza at Little Ceaser's and drove home. One day I should go swimming at the Waikele Community Park.

Newswriting Day 2

So today, we learned what makes a photograph "good". I brought my camera like he asked, but the poor thing is breaking after my three years of frequent use. Thank you Icing for lasting this long <3

There were three types of pictures we were supposed to take:

Photobucket
Framed

Photobucket
Repetition
And action which I totally failed.

Newswriting Day 1

Skipped ASMHS today for Newswriting. I think they were deciding the themes for Homecoming today. They better make it good!

For Day One, we learned how to structure a story. And I got homework. I don't think anyone should ever give out work over summer :( It makes me sad that I have to spend time on this...but whatever. I'll make it fun.

I also got some yummy cookies from Noah, my newswriting daddy, who is in Europe. I hope he's having fun.

Gosh and so many people are going places! I wanna go somewhere too! Anyone up for Kauai or something?

Priory!

First Serteen project of the year~ We worked hard cleaning tables and sweeping the courtyard. Hard work yo. My muscles still hurt from scrubbing one particular table white. I didn't know there could be so much dirt on one table!!

The fruits of our labor

The awesome ones who came
I drove to and from and maaaan it was creepy. I have a love-hate relationship with driving I swear.
But it was a good way to spend a Saturday :) I mean I got to skip practice and hang with the people I love most in the world. Nothing better.

Dodge that ram

Tonight was definitely the best night of summer...so far.

A bunch of my Serteen friends went over to Ward, and me, being out of money (^^"), couldn't go. That's totally fine though, I had $10, a car with a full tank and three other friends available so we went out :D

Met Mo at TC to give her my money for souvenirs from Korea. I hope she has fun :)

Dharyl was walking by the time Mo left, so Dayton, Holli and I drove up to Michelle's house in Mauka to see if she'd like to join us. We thought it'd be funny if we'd pull a prank on her and say we walked all the way to Mauka just for her, so she'd have to come with us. But she wasn't even home :(

So I chauffered these two back to TC where we ate dinner at Genki :3 I thought I could eat the regular katsu curry. I was wrong.

Photobucket
Dharyl and I
Saw Miss Kaneko and Mikami together like, right after dinner
Photobucket
I had an itch to take sticker booth pictures so I we went to Fun Factory. But the booth was full so we played DDR until it was free~~ Saw Erin and her friends.
Photobucket
The aftermath (pink hurr)
Went to Jamba for some juice and saw some guy get ice dumped all over him. I lol'd soo much we had to leave the store.
Photobucket
HAHAHA
And to McDonald's to finish eating the dinner I still had ^^ Dayton and Holli left, and though it was time for us to leave, Dharyl and I decided that 10 pm was too early to turn in. We drove around Mililani, up to Sixteen Acres, and it started raining! My car is old and has no rear wiper (but I still love it!), so all the cars driving behind us looked like one big fuzzy light. We practiced parking in the pitch black night, and "dodged rams" and drove up and down Snake Hill, and to Safeway before going home.
And now that I think about how incredibly random, impulsive and interesting our night was, I can't wait to do it again.

Mo's Trip

I'm so excited for you! Where are you going? Are you going to live with a Korean family? OMG yayyy!

But what should I ask you to get me from Korea Mo? I don't even know o.O

Oh oh! I want this!

Clear umbrella Pictures, Images and Photos
I remember Derrick had one in sophomore year, but Andrew broke it. Bwahahaa that was junk, it was really cool to see when it was raining.
Photobucket
See?! Cool.
And Grace says that Korean pencils and stationary are super cute so I think I want a couple of those. Kim is getting makeup, clothes and accessories. Help me!! But I only have $50 to spare, so...does anyone know the exchange rate for dollars to won?
I'm so excited and I'm not even going :) Have fun Mo, you leave on Sunday

Think green live pink

Uhmm yeaaah so..I dyed my bangs pink ^^ I would show you, but I don't take pictures of myself just to put on this blog. This is only to record how I spend my day, and if any of my friends are interested in reading, then they are more than welcome to. SO you can see them if you ever see me over summer or if I take a picture with someone :)

But I went to the Water Park today. Fun stuff. Did you know it only costs $20 on Wednesday for everyone? Well it does. Let's go one day!

CG sleepover

Mhm my first :) And it was lovely.

Gone all day Saturday. At school from 9-1 teaching little rookies how to dance and throw flips. They are seriously the most adorable people I know.

Photobucket

See? Adorable. (Btw there are my bangs :D)

Went for my driving lesson at 2:30 (parking) and jetted over to Pearlridge to squeeze in some random fun and dinner before the epic sleepover at Megan's.

Photobucket

We were split into groups. I was with Courtney, Sabrina and Taylor. We were the Sexy Masticators :) Cuz we had perfume from Sephora!

Photobucket
Ate dinner at Farrel's and it was delishhhh :3 I'm completely satisfied, even the day after. And there was no one I'd rather eat dinner with on a Saturday night. I had a teriyaki chicken burger. Pretty reasonable for $7.45.
Photobucket
Gave Holli, Taylor and Courtney a lift to Megan's and the sleepover began! Aunty Lori was having an epic Twilight party, so we watched quietly before pushing Holli in the pool.
Photobucket
Heck yes!
Photobucket
Jumped with Dayton in the trampoline. Our splits rock :) Karaoke'd with my close buddy Dharyl. Aaaaaaand we made a bonfire!
Photobucket
Fiyah fiyaaaaah (thanks to our fiyah dance)
No bonfire is complete without s'mores. Now that I'm thinking about it, I just want to go back and eat more s'mores. Yummmm~ We ended the night watching Psycho. Well I ended the night watching Psycho, and it was a typical 60's horror film. Predictable, but with an ending twist. I recommend watching it, and all of Alfred Hitchcock's other films.
Photobucket
Our huge conglomerate pancake full of CG creativity :)
Oh and All Time Low was performing on Saturday at Pipeline. I wanted to go sooooooooo bad D:

Banginnn'

I have :D Cut em myself.

Tuesday: Went to school for senior project and got to walk home with Leelynn :) I never walk now that I can drive, so it was nice talking to one of my closest friends and being able to take my time. I love summer. You always feel like there's an endless amount of time, and you can do anything in that time.

Wednesday: Cut my bangs!!

Thursday: MB social. Go masticators ;)

Still sick D:

But getting waaaay better :) NyQuil works wonders.

Yesterday I went to a fairly short parade. There were many Asians there ^^" One came up to Kayla and began hitting on her hahaaa :) And we saw this crazy demonic llama-moose thing that was supposed to be a dragon. Hehe. It didn't look anything like a dragon.

No picture sorry :(

Photobucket

Oh wait, here's one!

Today I went back to school to help Sawada "clean" his room (and to find out how I scored on my final). And it was dismal. Well better than I expected! A 77%...which means a C for the quarter. I'm not used to seeing all these horrible scores dot my report card.

Hung out with Dharyl, Holli, Dayton, Michelle and Sharmaine to celebrate Dharyl's 17th belated birthday. We watched Night at the Museum and it was great :) Saw my friend Jenn. I miss her so much.

Photobucket

Ate at Genki Ramen afterwards. I love love love chicken katsu curry sooo much.

Photobucket

Oh and Ninja Sushi too.

SAT....

Was horrible. But Punahou was reaaaaally nice. Darn Calder.

And I am sick :( All I could think about was sleep. Cold water. Chicken noodle soup. And a large box of tissues.

I hope my scores aren't that bad ^^"

But I still have a parade to go to tomorrow TT_TT

Summer begins!

So, I had gotten into blogging in the beginning of the school year, but I totally forgot all about it -_- I even forgot my login info. So I thought I should start a new one, and here it is.

Last day of junior year was today. It was a ton of fun :) Even though it ended at 2 p.m. When I look back at all the things that went on, I kiiiind of get sad and wonder 'hey, where did all the time go?'. But then, I remember all the bad things that went on. Like NHD. And Science Fair. AP tests. Sato essays. Sawada math. Let's just say life is going to get a lot better now that the year is over.

Well, I had my Analyt final today. I was feeling good about it, because I just aced my last test. But this one....oh man. I'll find out my score tomorrow when I come and "help" Sawada clean his room. Walked with Andrew to Japanese where we watched the end of Kiki's Delivery Service.

Kiki's Delivery Service Pictures, Images and Photos

I loved it ^^ Mo informed me that she is going to South Korea over summer and I was freaking out. Ever since I found out how cute their products were, I've been obsessed with going for some serious shopping.

Chem was cool. We made ice cream :)

Photobucket

Watched Across the Universe in APUSH and had a pot luck in Sato's.

Ate at the NEX. Bought Dante's Inferno for Lit. And now to sleep for tomorrow's SAT.

I feel a cold coming on :( Pleaaaaase just hold off for now, germs.
